For the last 4 years, I’ve invited some friends to our house in Sweden for an extended weekend stay. This year served up pretty clouds, tasty mushrooms, stars above and chat by the fire. I returned a few days ago, only to discover my damned cable modem made a 3 day hiccup.

Pictures are not modified at all. Their yellowish warm tint was achieved using the camera’s “white balance”, commonly used to compensate for rainy days. I used this effect to create lush, saturated images that captured the sense of summer, that I felt while I was actually there.

The camera is an aging Canon Digital Ixus V2.
