    It’s pretty damn sweet, it’s a shame that it’s incompatible with so many of the v2 skins though – it’s obviously good if that’s the only fault I can come up with! :-)

    It is great. As for the skins, I could never find _anyone for v2 that I truly liked… not even the default one! (Btw, I was using Trillian Basic).

    Plus, if there is a very popular skin, I’m sure it’ll be ported to 3 quickly enough.

    Trillian is good program, I like that is client for many networks.

    Unfortunately it lacked some recent features of IM networks. I had problems at work for example recieving files sent to me with other MSN users when I was running Trillian. Also sometimes messages I wrote were never recieved in other end.

    Will go and dl the latest version to see whats new in it and if it fixes the old bugs.

    I’ve also had these problems. Fortunately, I’m told these problems have been adressed.

    Yes. In every open “chat” window, you can select File > History.

    This is an old post – somehow came across it

    I’ve used Trillian,

    actually I used the new Trillian Astra for two weeks

    it lacks a few things, which led me to uninstall it and never look back.

    Ease of use.. Common needed items were scatters in numerous menu tabs

    Offline messaging.. most people experience that its better to be offline and chat with one person than to chat with 3+ people and be online.

    Lack of import support for previous message history (or shared files).. I can’t believe they forgot this.

    iTunes and WMP “currently playing” support.. i guess we have to make up our creative status message ourself

    it has no option to remove the status message trail .. from active messaging window in your friends (or your name) ie..

    ..mo >> ..mo “my name shouldn’t be this long ugh”

    overall, i like their move.. i like how well it connects (even though it doesn’t show a connectivity animation when it does) .. but not for me.. not really for my friends either.

    so I’m glad they have a free version. :)
