I know that sounds contradictory but do give Launchy a shot. I’ve been using it since 0.9.3 and the improvements that the author made are fantastic, yet without turning it into bloatware.

However, Colibri seems to have the better UI of the two.

Yep, see “Windows” is the KEY word here!

Another fun thing to know is that Windows Vista (which has very very few features that I’m excited about) will come with a feature like this, built into the start menu.

Notice the “Start Search” feature? Does pretty much the same thing, except slower.
