I've tried both Colibri and Launchy (www.launchy.net) and I like Launchy's simplicity and configurability.

I know that sounds contradictory but do give Launchy a shot. I've been using it since 0.9.3 and the improvements that the author made are fantastic, yet without turning it into bloatware.

Try it!

I should've added a smiley! I meant to add the quicksilver note myself, but forgot.

Interesting tho.. And you?re hotkey suggestion, is the same that I use for quicksilver on my powerbook. I wonder if that?s an instinctive choice based on all those years Alt-Tabbing?!

No doubt!

By the way, I have just reduced the font size in Safari, and I?m really liking the new look Noscope. Nice work.. Very nice!

Hmm. I'd better implement that "smaller text for Safari" hack sooner rather than later...

Another fun thing to know is that Windows Vista (which has very very few features that I'm excited about) will come with a feature like this, built into the start menu.
