In case you missed it, the keyword here is “openness”, which feels like an obvious sting at Apples recent iPhone development closedness.
I, for one, welcome our new Google overlords. Over-used jokes aside, this seems to me like it would be a good time to buy Google stock; that is: today rather than tomorrow. Why? Because so far Google has a trackrecord of making incredibly useful, usable web-applications that I’ve come to use daily. Add a phone to that mix, and the result smells like cookies and cream. Delicious cookies and cream.
