Stephen Horlander has made some very lovely and inspired, albeit very Chrome reminiscent, browser design for a future version of Firefox.
Sure, it’s all speculative and an early iteration, but there’s a lot to like here. I’m particularly a fan of the total rejiggering of the menu item, which looks like it also serves as an extension shelf.
For too long, the topmost menu has served as a dumping ground for features, symbolizing feature creep and a lack of usability focus. Moving towards a single menu button with large finger friendly buttons is delicious.
