Sidebar: Left Or Right?

    13:28 on November 27th, 2007 ,

Lots of modern websites have sidebars. The sidebar is the smaller of a two-column webdesign, usually used either for navigation or for secondary information. Sometimes, it’s on the left of the main column, sometimes it’s on the right.
Which is better?
This is something I’ve been flip flopping on for quite some time now. I decided to [...]

New Server

    13:06 on November 25th, 2007

Out of the blue: Hello new webserver. Hosted by danish company and personal acquaintance, Codefrog (gotta love that name), this new server should sport better speed and better support of WP-Super-Cache. We’ll see how things work out.

iTunes Is The New Real Player

    09:50 on November 22nd, 2007 , ,

I’ve been extremely happy with my iPod Shuffle. It is a fantastic device. Much to my sadness, though, the Shuffle is a package deal: you can only transfer music to the iPod using the bundled iTunes media player. Is that bad? Well, yeah, because iTunes is the new Real Player.

Air, Live in Vega November 2007 Micro-Review

Good concert. They seemed to have some trouble with the tech, though. Best song of the evening: Kelly Watch The Stars.

Zenphoto Update Extraordinnaire

    09:52 , ,

The team behind the now sweetest photo gallery offering has just released version 1.1. Zenphoto now offers EXIF file information, sub-albums, auto-watermarking, video embedding, tagging and searching.
I’m proud to say that I was once a tiny minuscule part in the development, as I designed what to my surprise is still the default Zenphoto theme. [...]

WP Super Cache Plugin

    19:24 on November 06th, 2007

Finally an alternative to WP Cache: WP Super Cache. I’ve been having nothing but trouble with the former, yet I can’t live without it. Let’s hope the new one works better. So far things seem to be working really well.

The Magical VectorMagic

    17:35

VectorMagic converts your bitmap images to scalable vector graphics. It does so very well. Just see this quick sample I made. A comparison is also available on the site, for I don’t know how long.
