Between Star Trek (Kirk) and The Next Generation (Picard), Gene Roddenberry had plans for a new Trek series dubbed Phase II. Ralph McQuarrie of Star Wars fame redesigned the Enterprise. Did you know?

    Yes, I did as a matter of fact, because I have this book, in which there are actually six full pages of Star Trek paintings and drawings.

    It’s expensive, but well worth it for all the sci-fi goodness.
