I often wonder "what if" Al Gore had become president during the whole Florida recount-the-vote mess. How would the world be different? Certainly, it'd be greener. And I doubt the financial mess would be as severe as it is today.

Jenny-fa: Anyway, he leaves behind countless excellent, Photoshopped/perhaps not Photoshopped photos to entertain us, like the one you've so graciously included here, including that one with him reading to schoolchildren and holding the book upside down.

I'm pretty sure none of those photos you mention are photoshopped... only the picture showing Bush in office early on, wearing the one ring to rule them all, was shopped.

I hope that was sarcasm.

Although I despise Bush's policies and am glad he's out of the White House, I do think he meant well. Sort of. In his own ignorant, blundering way. So that's why I pity him.

Need to catch up on the rest of your entries now.

I think George Bush was a good president, but most of all, a good Christian, who God spoke to and told to commit wars.

I can naught but agree with the two of you, that I hope some actual judgement lands on the Bush.

Realistically, I just don't expect it to. As much as I would sometimes like there to be a special layer of hell reserved for rapists, people who speak in the cinema and George Bush, I just don't believe it.

People like Bush get away scott free.

There is absolutely no punishment I can think of that is too horrendous to be considered for the massive turd of a person that is George Walker Bush. Let him have the chair in his own fucking state.

I hope he is dragged through a long and humiliating trial, that puts him and his cohorts in prison, where they belong.

I hope long tendrils of guilt and corruption will pull out an unimaginably large number of greedy, dishonest people who supported and enabled him, and break them and and their careers of greed and destruction.

People like Bush and his network of scumbags are a cancer upon the governments of the world, and I hope they go down in flames.

Beautiful, Joen.

I do hope history judges him -- judges, convicts and incarcerates him.
